National Geographic Museum

Donna took the kids to the National Geographic Museum on Thursday - it is only a couple of blocks from our apartment.

We had a busy afternoon there while Olivia and Kieren:

• found the buried treasure and the mummy's tomb;
• steered a boat towards the North Star;
• went camping;
• built a pyramid;
• flew a plane;
• went on a family adventure.

We were there for over a couple of hours and the kids weren't very happy when it was time to go, so we ended up there again on Friday. Olivia and Kieren befriended one of the volunteers and monopolised her time for the afternoon, but she was still happy to see her 'buddies' again the next day.
